Rick came out to our place, carefully explained options and when we settled on the gear, sent out his troops to install within a week. They were fantastic -- the system is intuitive to use, sounds and looks amazing and there isn't a wire anywhere. Price came in below the quote. Guys were uber professional. Fully recommend.

Definitely 5 stars for Rick's Home Theatre Store in St. Petersburg! Excellent service and products at very fair prices. Recently I was shopping for a new TV and Rick helped me choose a great model, better than what I thought I could have gotten in my budget! If you are looking for anything sound/audio/tech-related, I recommend checking out Rick's first. Bonus: The store is locally owned and independent, and the owner is very community-focused.

Rick and his team are 1st class. They provide options, recommended components and install the equipment. Rick and his team have literally transformed our experience for home entertainment. Sony 4K+ television picture is amazing, looks like we are there. That paired with Sony receiver and SVS speakers and sub - no need to ever step into a movie theater again. Outside kitchen with Samsung Terrace television allows for viewing in daylight while in the pool. Sonos everywhere else gives us so many options. The setup and fine tuning provides a complete package. Wish I would have done this sooner.

When I say I'm a big fan of Rick's, people often ask how a small store like that can maintain its business model. I tell them this: Rick's offers a terrific product line; they do a lot of home-installation work (including lawns and pools). Probably most important, they offer expert advice on A/V gear. Sure you can buy products online or at a big box store, but in most cases ... you're on your own. Rick and his crew will help you make the right choice for your budget —they don't sell just high-end gear — and either set it up or walk you through the process. Plus their store is cool, with great listening and watching stations. Kind of like home away from home for A/V gear heads.

I found it hard to find an AV tech company. Some places thought or needs too small for their services and others didn’t even return contact attempts. I called up Rick and was able to drive over there that day and start talking about what I wanted done. We set up an appointment after a quick estimate was made and everybody showed up on time and was very professional and got everything working. They were also very good with follow up and questions. I will use them again and would highly recommend.

I own an audio video and automation company in St. Louis, but I needed some help with a TV install at our condo in St. Pete. I was referred to Rick’s by another resident in our building. Rick scheduled us the next day. Brian and Jim came totally prepared for any contingency. They were polite, professional and knowledgeable. Within a matter of minutes, they had the TV unboxed, prepped and ready to hang. They connected the power protector and logged on to the wi fi for remote access. They programmed the TV and streaming box, centered the TV and cleaned up the boxes all within an hour. I highly recommend Rick and his team for all of your electronic technology needs.

I purchased a new LG 55 inch TV from Rick's and had them install it yesterday. This experience was extraordinary. Prompt order placement so from placing order and arrival of TV at the store was a couple of days and then scheduled for install the next day. The technicians were beyond great in every way. Their knowledge, passion for their job, preciseness in each step of the install was exemplary. So grateful for the tremendous customer service and caring technicians. Thank you for such a high level experience.
